About the ‘Irfán Colloquium session #46 (English)

Theme: "Studies in the Writings of The Báb and 'Abdu'l-Bahá Section I, and Seminar on Qayyúmu'l-Asmá"


Bosch Bahá'i School offers a unique opportunity for systematic study of the Bahá'i Writings and its fundamental belief system through this `Irfán Colloquium, held 1-4 May 2003 at Bosch Bahá'i School in California. Philosophy, Science and the Bahá'i Faith will be the new theme of the Irfán Colloquia in 2003, focussing on selected Writings of The Bab and Abdu'l-Bahá. Sessions in English and in Persian will be held separately.

The program includes presentations on the Qayyumu'l-Asma (Commentary on the Qur'an's chapter of Joseph) and the Treatise on Sulúk (Mystic Search), Lawh-i hurufat al-muqatta'ah from the Writings of The Bab; Alchemy in Babi-Bahá'i Tablets, the Secret of Divine Civilization, Siyasiyyih (Treatise on Politics), Tablet to August Forel, Tablet on Muhabbat (Love), and the Tablet of `Ammih (the Aunt) from the Writings of Abdu'l-Bahá. Other topics such as the "Image of Christ in the Writings of Abdu'l-Bahá," "Bahá''i Existentialism," "Service, Joy and Sacrifice," and "Unity, Spirituality and Progressive Revelation" will also be covered.
