The `Irfán Colloquium 2003 (in English) will be held at the Center for Bahái' Studies in Acuto, Italy, from 10-13 July. It will begin immediately after the Persian sessions of the Irfán Colloquium (3-9 July). The topics to be presented include "Globalization and the Bahái' Faith," "Confucianism and Modern Chinese Morality," "Divine Philosophy," "Health and Nutrition in the Writings of `Abdu'l-Bahá," "The Approach of Abdu'l-Bahá to the Problem of Tolerance," "Bahá'u'lláh's poem Rashh-i `Amá," "The Bábis Response to a Question about Lawh Al-Mahfuz (The Preserved Tablet)," "Hadith-i-Kumayl and the Bábis Commentary thereon," "Lawh-i-Istintáq (Interrogation) and its historical background," "Long Obligatory Prayer," "Tablets of `Abdu'l-Bahá in honor of Ibn-i-Asdaqis Daughters," and "The image of Prophet Muhammad in the Writings of `Abdu'l-Bahá." Mr. Necati Alkan, Dr. Dominic Brookshaw, Mr. Serene Freemantle, Dr. Minoo Foadi, Dr. Stephen Lambden, Dr. Moojan Momen, Dr. Augusto Lopez, Dr. Sholeh Quinn, Dr. Julio Savi, Erfan Sabeti, Mr. Iscander Tinto, and Mr. Ismael Velasco will be among the speakers of this session.
