`Irfán Colloquium inaugurates a four year centenary celebration of `Abdu'l-Bahá`'s Talks, and significant events associated with His historic travels to the West (1911-1913). The program also includes analytical studies on some of the Writings of Bahá'u'lláh and the Báb, and presentations on certain social and philosophical topics from the perspective of the Bahá'í Faith as well as musical performances. Presentations will be made by Dr. Muin Afnani, Dr. Ghasem Bayat, Dr. Ian Kluge, Dr. Wolfgang Klebel, Dr. Mahyad Rahnamaie, Dr. Stephen Lambden, Habib Riazati, Dr. Sholeh Quinn, Dr. Omid Ghaemmaghami, Dr. Farhad Sabetan, Dr. Heshmat Shahriary, Farzaneh Sabetan, Ala Ghods, Dr. Iraj Ayman, and other Baha'i scholars . There will be opportunities for free dialogue and discussion on the topics presented. `Irfán Colloquia take place in an informal and collegiate atmosphere and provide unique opportunities to meet and associate with those interested in systematic Bahá'í studies. Program starts after dinner on May 19th and ends after lunch on May 23rd. Participants receive a free set of `Irfán publications. |
